Police search for officer who vowed to kill 200 if President dies

The police said it has commenced an investigation to first determine if the 'Buhari fanatic' is indeed a policeman.

A manhunt is said to be underway for the riot policeman who threatened to kill 200 persons if President Muhammadu Buhari dies.

The officer, Inusa Saidu Biu, made the statement in a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 25.
The Nigeria Police Force had in a statement on Wednesday said it is investigating matter.
In the post, Biu claimed that the 'enemies' of the President are orchestrating his (Buhari) death.
He wrote, "After they poisoned him, God did not let him die; Buhari, the cat with nine lives. Now they want him to resign so that they would continue to steal our ‘yam’ (treasury). No way; your enemies will die like mosquitoes before you, including those who are commenting negatively. Shege ya buro uba, Zamu ci uwaku. If Buhari dies, I promise to kill 200 people."
The post, which went viral, sparked outrage on the internet, with many calling for the immediate arrest of the policeman.
