UNIABUJA: SUG President suspended for embezzlement and character wise

The student's Union Government PRESIDENT has been suspended for (4) weeks.


The following are some of the reasons; peruse through as more details will be coming up later.

 (1) His consistent refusal to appear before the Ethics and privilege committee to answer questions pertaining the under listed petitions written to the SRA against him by members of his executive cabinet
(a) Refusal to remit the sum of 50,000 Naira collected from United Africa Bank(UBA) into the Union account as stipulated by the constitution.

(b)Misappropriation of Union fund during the unconstitutional NAUS convention totalling #450,000 naira

(c) The president collected #150,000 naira for NANS convention without sending anyone or presenting us during the convention

(d) The sum of 50,000 naira was collected from Globacom for the purpose of advert without remitting it to the union account.

(e) forgery of letter head paper different from that of the STUDENT UNION GOVERNMENT without the knowledge of Secretary General.

We urge you all to take note as he is no longer liable to spare head the affairs of the Union nor go on a movement in the name of the Students Union Government.

We implore you all to exercise patience as further details will be disclosed soon from the office of the Clerk whose laptop, wallet and personal gadgets including phones has been forcefully taken by the suspended president's thugs spearheaded by King David
